Watching Birds in the Snow. January 11, 2011 at 11:14 am. I enjoyed watching the Carolina Wrens hop around the snow. The Eastern Towhee try to scratch through the ice. The Mourning Dove trying to figure out what is this white stuff on top of my food. We even watched the Mourning Doves take a bath in our very cold birdbath. Carolina Wren Seeking Shelter.
