Living the Life of a Suburban Jetsetter. Forever rockin' the suburbs with minivan style. Saturday, January 1, 2011. 2011 has come upon us quicker than one can imagine, as far as I'm concerned. Funny enough, even though we are in a new calendar year, our family pretty much goes by the school calendar rather than the Gregorian calendar. This "new year" in January thing feels less like a new year than the "new year" that begins in September. The theme for January is FRIENDS. January 1, 2011.

I nearly had a mental breakdown a few weeks ago. I was crying, anxious, bitchy as hell. the pressure of needing (wanting? I weigh-in again tomorrow, and I am hoping that I am within sight of my goal (125). I did finally cancel my Weight Watchers membership, and it felt so liberating. We plan to start packing this week.

I have to say, our tree looks really freaking awesome with our new floors and our painted walls. What does she know.
