I’ve spent my 30s here, and as I approach my 40th birthday this summer, I begin another part of my life in a new house, with new memories and new energy. In my allowing, I get out of my own way. I have been pulling inspiration from this beautiful poem:. There is no controlling life. Try corralling a lightning bolt, containing a tornado. Dam a stream and it will create a new channel. Resist, and the tide will sweep you off your feet. Allow, and grace will carry you to higher ground.
