There is something very satisfying about helping people in need. During the month of August, Birthline provided emergency food, diapers, clothing, toys, counseling, and referrals to more than 200 families living in poverty.

Giving back the next generation. Did you know Birthline is 100% volunteer run? Noone gets paid, not even our director. We are all rewarded with the joys of giving. Amelie, a granddaughter of one of our volunteers, is spending part of her summer sorting toys for our clients and helping to organize our office. It is never too soon to teach the next generation to feel the heart warming gift of giving back. Birthline would like to highlight the work of one of our wonderful volunteers!

Help us Help others. Volunteer to help with counseling, clerical work and or fundraising efforts. Birthline is comprised of an all volunteer staff. Face to face interviewing , support and follow up appointments. Data entries, thank-you letters, ordering food, advertising, mailings. Sorting donated clothes, bundling diapers, food distribution and sorting. Help the chairperson with the Walk for Life, Concerts, Wine Tasting, or create a new fundraising event.

Where Free Advice Can be Priceless.Come Talk to Us. Birthline has been working in San Diego for almost 35 years.
