Our Little Family: Niagara Falls
http://wadescottfam.blogspot.com/2015/08/in-july-we-attended-going-away-party.html
Sunday, August 02, 2015. The weekend before we went to Niagara Falls we took a drive to see Chris' Mom and visit his Grandmother and aunts who were staying for a few days. During the visit some serious fishing broke out. There were lots of fish caught at this dock near The Scott's home. Like father like son. I'm trying to learn to take better pictures and Kael is my go to guy when I need a model! Our hotel room in Niagara Falls was amazing! It was a great trip! Panoramic view from our room. Outside the m...

Our Little Family: Milestone!!!
http://wadescottfam.blogspot.com/2015/08/milestone.html
Wednesday, August 12, 2015. We hit another milestone last week! Balin helped Chris cut the grass for the first time! It was sooooo cool to see Balin pushing the lawn mower around the yard. He's growing up too fast! We planted the seed that in a couple of years he could offer grass cutting services in the neighbourhood and earn some extra cash. He liked the idea. This also gives you a great idea of how colossally huge our backyard is. Sigh. It's easy to say that Balin didn't work up much of a sweat.

Our Little Family: December 2012
http://wadescottfam.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 11, 2012. The boys finished up their gymnastic classes and swimming lessons this week for the Christmas break. After their gymnastics class finished, each kid received a report card and a ribbon. They got to stand on a podium to receive their goodies and get their picture taken. It was a nice touch and a nice way to end the class. Kael's coach gave out little goodie bags too. Lucky kid! They are really enjoying the classes so we have them enrolled in the next session. I am in my mid-thi...

Our Little Family: August 2013
http://wadescottfam.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 31, 2013. When the boys finished school last June they each received a free pass to the Bowmanville Zoo. There was only a thin fence separating us from most of the animals. We saw two wolves in this pen. So focussed on the little kid, even as they walked away. You can see that there's only the wire fence and some rocks separating us. Right next to the tiger was this beautiful lion. These guys knew there were snacks to be had. She's the last Asian elephant in Canada. I sometimes think Bal...

Our Little Family: February 2013
http://wadescottfam.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 22, 2013. An Icy Cold Walk. We've had some crazy weather here lately. One minute it will be crazy windy and super cold and the next it will be nice and sunny and warm and we almost don't need a jacket. Then it will be a blizzard and we'll be up to our noses in snow. This is at the top of the bank looking East. Still at the top looking South. That's a big rock in the water. This time looking West. There was a cool tree covered in ice. Of course we had to take a closer look. Crazy golfer c...

Our Little Family: July 2014
http://wadescottfam.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 03, 2014. Today the boys and I went berry picking! It was a great morning and the weather was perfect. The boys had fun squishing the "squishy" berries and getting completely covered in juice. I picked up some rhubarb at the market and will make a delicious strawberry rhubarb pie tomorrow. Can't wait! Balin is pretending he's about to stand on and squish berries. Tuesday, July 01, 2014. The boys were ready to celebrate! Hope everyone had a great day of Red and White! The Story of Stuff.

Our Little Family: May 2014
http://wadescottfam.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 26, 2014. As promised, I am going to try to update the blog a little more. Our day to day stuff isn't very interesting but occasionally we do something that is a little more share worthy. Yesterday, we went to Lindsay to see the RawHide Rodeo! The rodeo was really good! I took a few (ok a lot) of pictures. Grab a cup of coffee or tea and settle in if you'd like to see some of what we saw. Click on the pictures to see them a bit bigger. The boys got to ride a pony. Balin was first. This guy wa...

Our Little Family: Kingston
http://wadescottfam.blogspot.com/2015/08/kingston.html
Sunday, August 09, 2015. We were in Kingston this weekend for just one night but we packed so much into our visit that it felt like we'd been there for a week! It was another fantastic weekend! We arrived on Friday and headed to the Marine Museum. When we got to the bridge the kids' imagination took over and they were giving orders to anyone and everyone who was in ear shot. They had so much fun it was hard to tear them away from it. It was all serious business, as you can tell! Balin put his engineering...

Our Little Family: August 2014
http://wadescottfam.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 03, 2014. The beginning of summer. Here are a few pictures from the beginning of summer. We took a quick trip to Kingston and there was a wonderful festival taking place in a park near my parents' house. The boys got to try lots of fun things, including walking a tightrope (with Grandma's help). As soon as school was finished we headed to Ottawa for a weekend of visiting family and seeing the Parliamentary sights. Balin thought he'd try his hand at being a goalie. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Our Little Family: June 2014
http://wadescottfam.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 08, 2014. For ALL of our birthday's this year, Chris' parents bought us tickets to see the Lion King. The evening was a lot of fun with a ride on the GO Train, dinner in the city, walking through Toronto and seeing the sights. I always love seeing the CN Tower. Can't wait to take the boys there! The only pictures I took that day were ones on the train. But hey, you get the pleasure of seeing a picture of ME finally! It was a very, very fun evening. Thank you Jack and Pauline! The David Suzuk...
