Friday, January 27, 2012. It seems that an eon of collecting various fabrics which evoke the halcion days of golfing attire has finally paid off. I mean, how was I to know as I fossicked through op shops and fabric shops that that I would simultaneously produce two boys who needed clothing? Posted by gemma @ re:search. loz and dinny: February 2012
http://lozanddinny.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Posted by gemma @ re:search. Friday, February 24, 2012. This afternoon I sat with my first born. After a couple of hours in town, in an effort to extricate her from the library, I said we could do some sewing. Together. Once the boys were sleeping. On the sewing machine. By herself. So, the boys slumbered and she learnt to sew. Sew for the first time. And so she pinned. Turning out. So proud. So pleased. Sewing. Sewed. Posted by gemma @ re:search. Wednesday, February 15, 2012.

loz and dinny: December 2011
http://lozanddinny.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 18, 2011. Last Wednesday, our beautiful tree was delivered from Killiecrankie Farm. Standing plump and proud in all its sustainable, exquisite smelling beauty. A tree from Lee, has become part of our Christmas tradition. The placing of our ornaments collected in travels, takes us away to places once visited, where we dream of returning to. Yep, now Christmas is Go! Plus, she's dead famous, a covergirl . the Elle MacPherson of Christmas trees . see here. Thank you Lee x). So, Zo.'.

loz and dinny: October 2011
http://lozanddinny.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 13, 2011. Today I had a business meeting at my kitchen table over a cup of freshly brewed coffee and a couple of almond fingers. The meeting was then adjourned to the trampoline. Clearer perspective was achieved by contemplating jet streams, soaking up the sun's Spring rays to the soundtrack of clucking chickens. This photographic pose is impressive given that we have 6 children between us and no real commitment to pilates. I like my boardroom. Posted by gemma @ re:search. So, Zo.'.

loz and dinny: Recover: Or How Upholstery Changes Lives
http://lozanddinny.blogspot.com/2012/07/recover-or-how-upholstery-changes-lives.html
Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Recover: Or How Upholstery Changes Lives. So with a new wall, we could move the furniture around. We could rejiggle. So after spending the last 5 years thinking I really should have a stab at reupholstering the couch, I just did it. I'd bought the fabric a while back - Outside Oslo by Jessica Jone. S I really wanted the 'Dawn' colourway but decided that with three smalls under 5 maybe 'Dusk' would do the trick better. Some dating back to our first months on the island. check...

loz and dinny: January 2013
http://lozanddinny.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 2, 2013. I've been reading old diaries. Words from other times usually penned around this time of year when I make promises to be kinder to myself, or less fearful, or more confident in going after what I want. Less this, more that; extra this, minus that; better this, forget that. The only navel gazing was the one that produced blue lint. So for now I'm quite content with the lack of a plan of action. Better or worse. Give or take. More or less. Posted by gemma @ re:search.

loz and dinny: August 2012
http://lozanddinny.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 27, 2012. So today I had another moment. I checked the heritage registe. R clear as a bell . 143-149 St John Street- permanently registered. So for the first time ever I took action. I rang the council and logged a complaint. I spoke with Heritage Tasmania. So that was my moment. This property was purchased knowing it was part of the heritage register. That comes with responsibilities. If that's not your thing . then don't buy it. Posted by gemma @ re:search. Sunday, August 12, 2012. The w...

loz and dinny: April 2012
http://lozanddinny.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 19, 2012. I'm up far too early. I woke up thinking about sewing. Then I was thinking about fabric. Then I was thinking about our slim pickings here in fair Launceston. Then I was thinking about how I just need to see it in the flesh to choose. Then I headed to Tessuti. To do some virtual fabric fondling. And then I was stopped in my tracks by this post. Launceston is getting it's very own fine fabric shop . Ruche Fabrics. And it's opening today! Posted by gemma @ re:search. But the most a...
