Sunday, 16 August 2015. No, not this one. Something far less exotic (and quicker to make, I hope! I have been very good recently, and resisted the lure of the Craft Cottons remnant bin in my local fabric shop. However I weakened when I spotted this. Peacock feather cotton from JoAnn. Slightly toned down with a plain contrast. I'm using New Look 6643. I've made view D (bottom right) a couple of years ago, and have worn it a lot, so decided to make view A (main picture) this time. I then used this top tip.

Sunday, 26 July 2015. The University Chapel Project - July 2015 update. Yesterday the Chapel Stitchers got together for the afternoon, to decide on the design for the altar frontal. We'd had a lunchtime meeting previously, at which we'd discussed ideas, but this one was far more 'hands on'. We've decided that we want look to the future, and have a contemporary design, but also celebrate the chapel's history. Once we'd got the hand motifs in position, it became apparent that we're going to need a lot.
