STEF IN KOREA: May 2011
http://stefinkorea.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, 29 May 2011. A Month of Fun. This is my first post in a month - maybe I am not cut out for the blogging world. Regardless, I've been having a lot of fun and loving Korea more and more. I can't believe it's been three months already! Katie, Brian, Me and Seowoo. At the beginning of May we had a long weekend, it was Children's Day. So the day before that was Green Day (made up by our school).which was just a day of fun activities for the kids. Which was also perfect for us because it me...Probably ...

STEF IN KOREA: December 2011
http://stefinkorea.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Monday, 26 December 2011. Frances and I traveled together down the coast of Queensland for two or three weeks in 2009. We also lived together in Melbourne for four months that same year. And by that I mean she took me in when I ran out of money.she let me live with her for free! She is now living in London and I am so happy for her! But also jealous because Sam is moving to Paris very soon and they will be so close to each other. And because I want to live in London! The grass is always greener I guess.

STEF IN KOREA: July 2011
http://stefinkorea.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, 10 July 2011. This list is in no way exhaustive, but it's a start. Here are 10 things that I find strange about Korea. I am learning that it's better not to ask yourself 'why'? 1 Drunk old men sometimes hold hands and can be seen passed out on benches and on the street. 2 Couples wear matching clothes. 3 Guys carry their girlfriends’ purses. 4 Public bathrooms usually have bars of soap, not liquid soap. 5 Public bathrooms almost never have paper towels. 6 People walk on the treadmills at the gym.

STEF IN KOREA: Salvaged Winter Break
http://stefinkorea.blogspot.com/2012/01/salvaged-winter-break.html
Sunday, 1 January 2012. I only have two weeks of vacation in the year - one in the summer and one in the winter. Sam and I had been planning our trip to the Philippines since the summer. We bought our plane tickets and booked our hostel far in advance. We were soooo excited! She comes back and tells me, "Sorry, but I can't let you through. Your passport expires in four and a half months and you need at least six to get into the country." I was in shock! I waited for my bag, cried, called my mom, and was ...

Narratives: June 2010
http://historyjen.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Around and About in the Toronto Music Scene. Monday, June 28, 2010. To the Toronto police. This has nothing to do with music, but I'm reeling and need to get this out there. This weekend was arguably the worst in Toronto’s history. Where were you, police, when your cars were set on fire. And you let them burn? You left them unattended on purpose, didn’t you? Smashed windows downtown, terrifying customers, salespeople, shop owners, and on-lookers? Later, Steve Paikin. Trained officers were ordered to scare.

An insomniac's midnight musings. I’ve written countless words in my young lifetime. And sometimes I wonder if it all mattered. I mean. If a tree falls down in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it still make a sound? Elated. And if I never write a single word again, I can look back and still claim that I was a writer. But I’d like to think that I’ve been this, without any need of publication- I am a writer. And I’m on my way now. And even when it gets rough along the way, I will r...You are...

STEF IN KOREA: March 2011
http://stefinkorea.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Friday, 25 March 2011. CRIBS - The Suji Edition. I have been living in Suji for almost a month and I feel completely settled in my apartment so I thought it was time to post some pictures! Anyway, not much else to say about this, I think the pictures speak for themselves. A must: Necklaces on display. I shower standing in the middle of my bathroom. And then put this down so my feet don't get soaked when I need to go back in. It's more impressive on Cribs. Wednesday, 16 March 2011. The Post-It Note of Doom.

Around and About in the Toronto Music Scene. Thursday, December 20, 2012. The End (and a New Beginning). But I finished it, defended it, and graduated just this past June! I've continued to go to shows but much, much less so. In fact, the last time I was really out was in late September. Weird/not weird. I started going to shows when I was 27 years old. I'd only been to a handful before that- -Shaggy, Christina Aguilera, whoever played that Ottawa U frosh concert in 1997 (? Thank you very much, everyone.
