http://twojunkchix.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 10, 2013. Will you be our Valentine? Tia and I made these all-paper wreaths for Valentine's Day when I visited Virginia last month. We love them and wanted to share how we made them. You need lots of Doilies (we used 10 in and 8in). Large Round Cake Base (16 in). Coffee Filters natural and dyed pink and red Coffee filters. Hot glue gun and glue sticks. And a heart or something to decorate the middle of your wreath. We cut all the doilies in half. In the Center of the Wreath, we stacked a...

Two Junk Chix: November 2012
http://twojunkchix.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Up cycled Glittered Christmas Bulbs. So I had an old strand of C7 Christmas lights that didn't work anymore and instead of throwing them away and ending up in a dumpster somewhere, I decided to give them a new life and some BLING! This is so easy to do. My kids even helped! We brushed glittering glue on each bulb and then poured German glass glitter on them. You could use any glitter but I prefer German glass glitter because of its sparkly factor. Friday, November 16, 2012.

Two Junk Chix: December 2014
http://twojunkchix.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 16, 2014. I thought about it and made up my mind that wasn't going to happen. Not this crafty girl! I put my thinking cap on and thought how to "do this" without all those tools. All supplies that I used to make mine. The. J and Y cardboard letter. Glitter extra fine gold/silver mix. My husband drilled the holes for me. He doesn't want me to play with his "toys". so I let him do it. When you drill the holes.don't panic the holes aren't pretty. It doesn't matter cause...Place the lights ...

Tuesday, December 10, 2013. Anthro Inspired Pom Pom Wreath. I got together with my friends last night to recreate the Anthropologie wool wreath that was in the stores last year. Place the wrapped yarn on the strip you cut first. Then tie it in a knot tightly in the middle. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Crimson Clov...

Sunday, September 30, 2012. Halloween is one of my most favorite times of the year! The wreath now has a spot on my mantle hanging in front of an original window that was in my grandparents house. Surrounded by vintage silver platters, vintage silver trophies, a retro camera, cloche full of skulls and moss, silhouettes of rats, and other textures, it has a spooky yet understated glam feel to it. Peace, love, and Halloween! Thursday, September 27, 2012. Here are some easy steps to create the wands:. 4 You...

Two Junk Chix: Ghost Glass Cloche
http://twojunkchix.blogspot.com/2013/10/ghost-glass-cloche.html
Friday, October 4, 2013. It still feels like summer here in Virginia but inside the Dowler house, it's fall. I love Halloween decorating! I have this huge glass cloche on my dining room table and decided to go with a ghost theme this year. Very simple. Just filled the cloche with pillow stuffing and then cut out ghost eyes and mouth from a black duct tape sheet. Simple and so fun! October 13, 2013 at 6:14 PM. Oh such a cute idea(:).
