I Should Know Better. Monday 8th December, 2014. You would think that after negotiating my way through different contracts (mobile and broadband, not the important legal stuff) I’d be able to get myself good deals with little to no hassle. Wrong. Here’s hoping everything goes smoothly after 5pm (end of two hours) and I’ll be left with just one mobile contract. School boy error on my part but I’ll learn eventually. =. Asian Wedding Show 2014 Mini Reviews. Tuesday 2nd December, 2014. Travel, Ikea, Premier Inn and Bombay Bites. On Friday I set off from the train station to Birmingham. I thought I’d walk around for a while, whilst waiting for my friend but I couldn’t because the Bullring was jam-packed with Black Friday shoppers. There was no space to walk and people were standing in the middle of aisles exchanging chinwag! Exhibition Day 1: Ramgarhia Hall and Chilli Flames. So proud of my friend for her first exhibition!

Sort of like a memoir…except, not really. Not so much therapeutic. 1st March, 2017. 1st March, 2017. I read, not always because it’s relaxing, but sometimes to escape reality. 4th January, 2017. The one thing I have been doing more of the past year or so: Reading. Since I have an hour(ish)-long commute to work I mostly make use of that time to read. Having built up quite a list of books to read, I can happily say that I’ve almost completed the list and have bought…. I can’t wait to be…. 1st March, 2017.

JAPANESE SAKURA (CHERRY BLOSSOMS). Greg and I decided to “honeymoon” (great excuse to travel) in Japan. Seeing the cherry blossoms or “sakura” in bloom can now be checked off my bucket list. What’s mind boggling is that these beautiful trees only bloom for an incredibly limited time– about one week! There is another week of the petals falling off the flowers (which looks like magical snow). We were in Japan at this most special of times, and it was beautiful adventure.
