Two Adventures: The End
http://twoadventures.blogspot.com/2013/12/the-end.html
Two wheels, two skis, two feet, two-strokes, two people (two kitties). Monday, December 30, 2013. I am a voracious reader, but still am sad and even melancholy to a degree when I reach the end of a good novel. I'm always left wondering what happened to the characters next, even if the author managed to tie everything up well before the ending. Day 1 Worlds - MUD! We went to Louisville. Where Mike managed to best the worst racing conditions. Some projects for friends. In July. It was the hottest week ...

Two Adventures: April 2013
http://twoadventures.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Two wheels, two skis, two feet, two-strokes, two people (two kitties). Thursday, April 11, 2013. I've been realizing more and more why it is that I like (love? To race my bike. Yes, I love to ride. Yes, I love to push myself as hard as possible on the bike. Yes, I like the sense of accomplishment. Yes, I like the rewards that hopefully result (though the disappointment is often bitter, it is still a learning experience for the next time! This past weekend was the first race in the Root 66 Race Series.

Two Adventures: November 2012
http://twoadventures.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Two wheels, two skis, two feet, two-strokes, two people (two kitties). Friday, November 16, 2012. Playing in the Mud. Yes, that's Plymouth Rock in the background. With Thanksgiving just around the corner, it's always a good time to visit Plymouth. OK - so typically all we get to see is the race venue, but it's still fun to go and visit! When we arrived, we got the lowdown on the race from some friends, including a warning about the "ankle deep" mud run. "How bad could it be? Ankle deep, shoe sucking mud.

Two Adventures: October 2012
http://twoadventures.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Two wheels, two skis, two feet, two-strokes, two people (two kitties). Friday, October 26, 2012. Every year, there is grumbling from racers about other racers in the field. Typically, the grumbling is about people who are doing well in the field, and the fact that those people should upgrade or move to a different race (typically, the Elite race). Often, the people doing the grumbling aren't aware of the RULES associated, and every year, I find myself having to explain what the rules are. Have been on a ...

Two Adventures: September 2012
http://twoadventures.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Two wheels, two skis, two feet, two-strokes, two people (two kitties). Thursday, September 27, 2012. In between racing Green Mountain. And the races this past weekend in NH, life at the Rowell house was incredibly busy. Both Mike and I were slammed at work during the days, and then in the evenings, we had workouts to accomplish in addition to needing to build new SSCX bikes. Glue up two pairs of new carbon tubular disc wheels. And build my new Cannondale SuperX Disc. Thanks to Chris at The Bikeway Source.

Two Adventures: March 2013
http://twoadventures.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Two wheels, two skis, two feet, two-strokes, two people (two kitties). Friday, March 29, 2013. Here in MA, the snow hasn't quite. Cleared out, and temps have been cold, with this week's 50 degrees during the day feeling like a heatwave. Despite Mother Nature (or perhaps, TO spite her), this past weekend was the first MTB race of the season already! My turn came and having fun went out the window to be replaced with must not be last. Yup - racing season may have just ended, but it has begun again anew!

It might melt - by May. I currently have over double the miles on the Charge Cooker Maxi. Than I do on the brand new Cannondale Evo. I bought in August of last year. And I hope to put on even more before the winter is through with us! This post is so full of win! March 10, 2014 at 7:54 PM. March 10, 2014 at 8:17 PM.

http://twoadventures.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Two wheels, two skis, two feet, two-strokes, two people (two kitties). Thursday, February 21, 2013. Past the Terrible Twos. Yup - yesterday was Opie and Ellie's 3rd birthday! And of course, we had a party, and there was cake :). Monday, February 4, 2013. More Pics from Louisville. Our trip took us through eight states. There were a lot of NECX friends and teammates who made the trip down to worlds. Oh - there may have been some Belgians, too! Sightseeing - from our room :). But it sufficed in a pinch.
