The time home with the kiddos will be ending in the not to distant future. From what I can gather this can be sad, or at the very least, a lot of mixed feelings. I wrote this post 2 1/2 years ago after I had Rylan and today I was reminded of it. Today I ran a 5k on the treadmill without walking and in 30 minutes, my personal best and only 4 months after having Miles. After making 24 birthday cakes over the last 10 years I thought I would have a look back. It turns out I didn't start taking pictures of my masterpieces until Jake was 6 and Brenden was 4! The Craziness that is The Eby Family. The Lives of Chris, Mandy, Jake, Brenden, Rylan, and Miles. Thursday, July 11, 2013. My baby is 6 months! And not much of a baby anymore, at least by size. We got official confirmation yesterday that Miles is by far our biggest baby. He had his 6 month check up yesterday and weighed in just over 19 lbs. No wonder my arms are in such good shape! We just love this kid, but we're hoping he won't eat us out of house and home for a little while longer :). My Right Hand Man.

I even managed to put on a dress myself! I'll admit I was a bit nervous how she would hold up for a 2 hour performance. It was perfect. For both of us. It was a wonderful afternoon and evening. It felt so good to be able to share something with Rylan that we both truly loved. I can't wait to do it again next year!

I love running across a product that pays attention to the little things. I think it shows that the designer or developer or product manager cared enough about me as a user to make my experience as delightful as possible. I’m not talking about robust features or elaborate UI. I’m talking about the stuff that never makes it’s way into a user story as an explicit requirement. Case in point… InVision.
