Just another WordPress weblog. The House Where I Spent My Childhood. July 28th, 2013. I recently had lunch with a friend of mine in the Twin Cities. I was less than two miles from where I grew up, so after lunch I decided to visit the “old neighborhood” before returning to St. Cloud. The house itself is much smaller than I remember and that dining area must have been crowded as we sat around the table. But I can still smell the coffee and taste that wonderful summer sausage sandwich. June 19th, 2013.

But when I was pregnant with our first child, the constant craving for sweets began and continues to this day. And now she is also a part of the sisterhood of breast cancer survivors. Was it just lucky that I decided to participate in the photo session? Was it just luck that moved Jean to look at the flyer and read my story? I know that God led me to have that picture taken and give my story. I know that He led Jean to read my story and call her doctor!
