at the foot of the Andes: January 2011
http://gabice.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 11, 2011. Once in a while, technology takes a leap forward, leaving piles of older gadgets hopelessly behind. That happened quite some time ago, but I am just now catching up. I got an HTC Desire with an unlimited data transfer quota, which means I can remove the following things from my inventory; home phone handset, celular phone, iPod Touch, ADSL modem (! And wireless router (but I will keep the last one for future needs). The Desire can handle all those things on its own, and more.

Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Spending the evening with Johannes at GHuben. Pernille posing for the class in studio lighting at UFS (Uppsala Photographic Society). Johannes sitting in a niche at Västgöta Nation. Frida Picture taken at UFS,. The studio lighting course I took at UFS turned out highly valuable. I'm now much more in-the-know about the do's and don't's of portrait photography, and especially lighting. I can warmly recommend taking the course. Thanks to all the models! Monday, April 04, 2011. Thursday, February 23, 2012. A loofah, aloof. A loofah, aloof with flu. A loofah, aloof with flu, flew. Downloaded, Finger Painted, Blogged from my Windows Phone. Posted by Aniruddha P N. Links to this post. Sunday, February 19, 2012. The longer one stays away from posting or giving any heed to the blog; when restarting, more becomes the need to pen down such a monumental literary piece that would someday be at least made into a bad action movie. First off, knowing Kannada helps. Get to K R Market, Kanak...

Aimless thinking...: December 2008
http://aimless-thinking.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 02, 2008. Calvin was growing up so fast that had he placed his palm on top of his head he would have felt himself grow-up many inches daily. Just like Alice from Wonderland. His most favorite bed-time-story. He was being introduced to so many new subjects at school at such a frantic pace that he was facing great difficulties in coping with them all. His head whirled with so much information being stuffed into it, all at the same time! Calvin turned the first leaf and started narrating&#...

Aimless thinking...: November 2008
http://aimless-thinking.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 07, 2008. It was a gray overcast afternoon and it thundered every now and then. The breeze carried the fragrance of wet-mud and the yellow light made everything glow in a fresh heavenly glitter. Far away, bright flashes of lightning arrowed down to the ground. But it did not rain. The brimful clouds seemed adamant. Much like a pained woman of great restraint who lets not a tear roll down her cheek. They say hardships age a person before time. I'm sorry, Pa! Uttered Beth, with a voice tha...

Sunday, July 08, 2012. They met rather late in their lives. Honey-gatherers at abandoned hives. He hesitated a bit; and she just shied. A different knot they tied. He ignored her charms, but charming she was! She ignored his concern, but caring he was! They denied whilst their hearts pined. A different knot they tied. They longed but neither seemed to confess. These grown-ups were taking such baby steps! They were meant to be - this fate did decide. A different knot they tied. A different knot they tied.

Don't we all, from time to time? Saturday, June 15, 2013. Cinema has the capacity to stimulate and captivate the senses like few other things in this world. For over a century now, movies have provided humans with a vision of an alternate reality, where each of them is Superman and their Lois Lanes are Aphrodite’s distant cousins. These neatly compiled sequences of events give us temporary relief from our everyday, vanilla lives and teleport us into a magical world where aal izz well. And other shows....
