The Complete Works of TGR Worzel: A scenic stroll to the sewage farm...
http://tgrworzels.blogspot.com/2015/08/a-scenic-stroll-to-sewage-farm.html
The Complete Works of TGR Worzel. Baldly going where no blogger has gone before. Supporting sites and pages. A scenic stroll to the sewage farm. With nothing better to do today, I borrowed a four-legged friend for the afternoon and went for a very long walk. Connor badly needed the fresh air and the exercise and to be honest so did I. My cunning plan was to park in Netley then walk back to Woolston before turning around and re-tracing our steps to the car for a nice cool refreshing drink. Amazingly I too...

The Complete Works of TGR Worzel: Netley to Weston - What did I see...?
http://tgrworzels.blogspot.com/2015/08/netley-to-weston-what-did-i-see.html
The Complete Works of TGR Worzel. Baldly going where no blogger has gone before. Supporting sites and pages. Netley to Weston - What did I see? It is quite some time since I walked the coastal footpath from Netley to Weston and Woolston, along the edge of Southampton Water. If you recall, I did that a couple of days ago as it was a good place to walk the dog. Although the footpath is still very familiar, I was surprised at how much some things have changed. It is quite hard to tell without taking scienti...

The Complete Works of TGR Worzel. Baldly going where no blogger has gone before. Supporting sites and pages. Celebrity Death and Fawning Celebrities. There is something about being flown home in a coffin that elevates celebrities to a different level. Fortunately it doesn't happen very often, but the unfortunate Cilla Black (aka Priscilla White) has certainly been in the news this past week, having unexpectedly passed away due to a fall and a stroke. Whilst on holiday in Spain. So far as I am concerned, ...

The Complete Works of TGR Worzel: August 2015
http://tgrworzels.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
The Complete Works of TGR Worzel. Baldly going where no blogger has gone before. Supporting sites and pages. A Miserable August Bank Holiday. I dont know what it is about August Bank Holiday weekend in the UK, but this year has turned out to be every bit as rubbish as last years. In every respect really. Including the weather. In fact, the last two years have been so miserable that I wouldnt actually mind if this Bank Holiday was renamed Margaret Thatcher Day. Labels: August Bank Holiday. Some components...

The Complete Works of TGR Worzel. Baldly going where no blogger has gone before. Supporting sites and pages. More from Alison Angel. I can't help marvelling at the incompetence of the various 'romance scammers' who seem to be targeting me at the moment. If you recall, last week I discovered that a rather attractive sounding French-Spanish lady. Not quite what I would expect of somebody living in Ghana, it has to be said. One can only laugh at the people behind these scams, as the notion that any 18/25/35...

The Complete Works of TGR Worzel. Baldly going where no blogger has gone before. Supporting sites and pages. Beware of the Support Worker. I do wonder about the intellect and the motives of some of these so-called support workers, who are allegedly trying to help people with various problems and issues. Take one particular case that I have some insight into, a mobility scooter user who despite the problem with her arthritic hip is currently housed on the second floor of a block of flats with no lift.

The Complete Works of TGR Worzel. Baldly going where no blogger has gone before. Supporting sites and pages. Fun with Google Translate. Have you discovered Google Translate. My French is a bit rusty, so when somebody started a hangout with me recently and messaged me in French, I had a bit of a problem. I understood the general nature of the message, but wasn't sure of every last detail. Was I missing something important? Then there was the question of is my written French up to the job of replying?

The Complete Works of TGR Worzel: Holiday time...!
http://tgrworzels.blogspot.com/2014/07/holiday-time.html
The Complete Works of TGR Worzel. Baldly going where no blogger has gone before. Supporting sites and pages. It is a while since I have been on holiday, seven years I think. But 7 years is quite a long time inside the confines of the same four walls. Perhaps it is now time for a brief change of scenery, but where shall I go and with whom? There's always the Isle of Wight I suppose. Its right on my doorstep, but I've been there only a couple of times. Mainly on school trips! And I've never been north of H...

The Complete Works of TGR Worzel. Baldly going where no blogger has gone before. Supporting sites and pages. The UK's most wanted chewing gum thieves. Responding to a Tweet by Hants Crimestoppers, which politely asked for 2 minutes of my time, I've just been looking at the UK's Most Wanted. I wasn't really expecting to see anybody I recognised, but you never know. I had a couple of minutes to spare and it was worth doing. Remember that we're looking at a list that is supposedly of the UK's Most Wanted.

The Complete Works of TGR Worzel: Sunset over Eastleigh
http://tgrworzels.blogspot.com/2015/08/sunset-over-eastleigh.html
The Complete Works of TGR Worzel. Baldly going where no blogger has gone before. Supporting sites and pages. I caught this all too brief moment yesterday evening, looking towards Eastleigh from Mansbridge as the sun set. It looked as though Eastleigh might have been on fire, though it wasn't of course. The colours are due to the refraction of light which happens when the sun is low in the sky, and reflection off the underside of clouds. Up until a few minutes ago, I thought I had driven over the little b...
