Official Blog of Jeremy Hagon Photography. UK Eclipse of the Sun. March 20, 2015. The partial eclipse of the sun here in the UK has ended. Due to bad cloud cover, it was hard to see the full effect of the moon passing in front of the sun, but we did experience a drop in temperature and an eerie silence as the birds went quiet and traffic outside seemed to be non-existent.I managed to get these two shots. Can’t wait until August 21st 2017 for the next chance to see an eclipse of the sun. January 12, 2015.
