On Dec 17, 2012 in Essays. The alarm clock rings, and I discover that releasing my weary body from the comfort of my pillow-top-memory-foam bed is plenty challenging. Add the indignity of a workday, and it’s turned into the sort of Thursday where both my head and my spirit hang a little low. Feeling bulky and running late, I decide to stop off for a paper cup of overpriced coffee, which feels like a happy little incentivizing present, like giving a kid candy for using the toilet. There are something like...

LAND OF THE ZIA: WALKABOUT '09 - DAY 4 - MILE 596 - THE VIEW
http://gmcbuddlowdown.blogspot.com/2009/04/day-4-mile-596-view.html
WALKABOUT '09 - DAY 4 - MILE 596 - THE VIEW. From the Grand Canyon we headed north. It was weird.the Grand Canyon just seemed to end. Not long after leaving the Grand Canyon; however, we came across another 'not so grand' canyon. This one cost $2 bucks to get in [as opposed to the $25 per car fee at the GC]. It was actually pretty impressive. Along side of the canyon was a Native American market place where I picked up some pottery and a cool handcrafted Christmas ornament. Now as to be expected, this ki...

Still Learning: Reading all kinds of books
https://anji-stilllearning.blogspot.com/2008/04/reading-all-kinds-of-books.html
Wednesday, April 2, 2008. Reading all kinds of books. The second point that Worldman. 8217;s comment brought to mind was about re-reading books. As I’ve grown older I’ve revisited many of the books I enjoyed in the past, some of them several times Its been interesting to see how my ideas about the characters has changed as my own experiences have made me hopefully wiser. I recommend this exercise to everyone – I think that you would be surprised! Thursday, April 03, 2008 2:57:00 PM. Have a happy day!

Selfie - the interesting part being the reflection in my sunglasses! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 160; . View my complete profile.

Friday, November 26, 2010. Books, books and more books. I found this on Dru’s blog. I have read more than 6 (pokes out tongue at BBC). There are even more on this list that I’d like to read…. 8221;The BBC believes most people will have read only 6 of the 100 books listed here. 8226; Copy this list. 8226; Bold those books you’ve read in their entirety. 8226; Italicise the ones you started but didn’t finish or read only an excerpt. 8226; Tag other book nerds.”. Still Learning: We shall await your immediate response
https://anji-stilllearning.blogspot.com/2009/10/we-shall-await-your-immediate-response.html
Wednesday, October 14, 2009. We shall await your immediate response. Amongst all of the emails about the enormous amounts of money I’ve inherited and won (my sex life seems to have been put on hold by the spammers for the moment). This one caught my eye. How long do you wait for an immediate. In their case, I would imagine till hell freezes over. Wednesday, October 14, 2009 8:26:00 AM. Wednesday, October 14, 2009 2:54:00 PM. Dru: Youre right there. Still Learning: Do you remember?
https://anji-stilllearning.blogspot.com/2009/11/do-you-remember.html
Sunday, November 15, 2009. Do you remember an Inn,. Do you remember an Inn? And the tedding and the spreading. Of the straw for a bedding,. And the fleas that tease in the High Pyrenees,. And the wine that tasted of the tar? And the cheers and the jeers of the young muleteers. Under the vine of the dark veranda)? Do you remember an Inn, Miranda,. Do you remember an Inn? And the cheers and the jeers of the young muleteers. Who hadn't got a penny,. And who weren't paying any,. Of the girl gone chancing,.
