At some point, she just stood up, in the middle of the sandbox, unassisted from a squat position. Here's a picture of her doing the same today. Thursday, August 29, 2013. Yesterday we had a breakthrough when she said one of those words she knows without us saying it first. It's a relatively new word for her that she quickly caught up on. Most importantly, she said that word repeatedly as a request. The word was " Bamba. We were eating dinner with friends at a restaurant. We gave her some.

Making Babies in America. Wednesday, June 19, 2013. It finally happened sometime last week. Kira was 8 1/2 months old. This girl just wants to stand all day long, but when left alone to complain, she used to manage to army crawl and use her hands to get around.
