Our Next New Adventure: May 2012
http://jamiewindham.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 28, 2012. Well the youngest team in Fairfield league has fought their way back to the top in the playoffs. We won our first two playoff games pretty easy. Then we beat a team that beat us twice in the regular season that put us in the top bracket for the final playoff game! It is double elimination so we were sitting good not having lost a game. The team we played had one loss against them. I did cupcakes for Ladybugs birthday with all the girls number on them! This week our school had a volu...

Our Next New Adventure: April 2012
http://jamiewindham.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 29, 2012. Like a duck on a june bug. Warning: Bragging to be displayed in this post. Read at your own discretion. This is what Ladybug's softball coach calls her. Duck on a June Bug. I love to watch their face when she does it right whether it is her fast hands while hitting, a long shot, her throwing or catching. They kind of just shake their heads like how did she do that. I love it for her too because you can tell how happy it makes her. There has been a lot of mental coaching:. The deal...

Our Next New Adventure: Mets action
http://jamiewindham.blogspot.com/2013/03/mets-action.html
Monday, March 25, 2013. Batman played his first coach pitch game on opening weekend. He did very good! I can't count the number of times that the coach told him to get baseball ready because he was dancing in the field and playing in the dirt but every time that ball was hit he jumped into action and he shocked me as he caught all the balls thrown to him. I was very impressed. And to top it off, he got a home run! Coach is giving him a pep talk. And rounding third on the way home! Very exciting for him!

Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Last Saturday ended Batman's soccer season this year. Whoo. Glad that is done. Our team ended up pretty good. We had some great kids on our team and even though we don't keep score, we won about half our games which was exciting for the kids. Here are a few more pics of my man playing. Love this one with him and Coach Daddy. And one last throw in. This is our first week back to quiet now! We had two performances. The first one was Kinder, First and Second. They did it outside ...

Our Next New Adventure: Tired of Electronics
http://jamiewindham.blogspot.com/2013/08/tired-of-electronics.html
Sunday, August 25, 2013. Our summer is coming to an end. Not the heat, just the no school. I have been very lenient this summer with the electronics. There has been a lottttt of this. IPods with Minecraft and Computers with Minecraft. I guess I can say I have had enough of Minecraft. We are going back to a very reasonable amount of computer/electronics time of an hour a day. And once school starts again, I don't think there will be even time for that. Hope they enjoyed it while it lasted! No Time For Fla...

Our Next New Adventure: Just a snap before church
http://jamiewindham.blogspot.com/2013/08/just-snap-before-church.html
Sunday, August 18, 2013. Just a snap before church. I feel like we all wear sports shorts and tanks just about everyday. So it makes me smile when the kids get a little dressy. My Ladybug who wore nothing but dresses for a whole year a few years back now wants shorts, t-shirt and running shoes so she is always ready to play. But she looks so sweet and grown up when she wears her dress and boots. Having a wondering Sunday! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Texas Things To Do. The Adventures of Breagirl.

Our Next New Adventure: August 2013
http://jamiewindham.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 25, 2013. We waited till the last minute to make the decision if Batman could play football or not. We decided to let him go ahead and try it. We are second grade so it is tackle! The first week was just conditioning in the heat. And getting used to the weight of the helmets. Second week started full pads! Boy was it an adjustment. But we worked through it. I know I should say tough, but he looks so cute in his pants and compression tops. Yeah so cute running the ball. Well I was done....
