Also fixed all the other photos I put up there! This morning I got a lie in but an even longer one than I expected! I was supposed to be meeting in the lobby at 9.40 but woke up at 9.35! Following this we went back to the hotel where I was able to actually get myself ready this time! The restaurant we went to ...

Sunday, 18 October 2009. Day 4: Treated like a queen. Well, today started with church! We were greeted very warmly by everyone. Everyone wanted to practise their English and talk to us on our way in, we felt like we were famous! It had been designed by Mr Chen who owned the house and was made out of wooden logs. We walked past the servants quaters (! And I had water! The other table sat the women and children which showed you the formation of the church! If not, I will post on Wednesday! Day 1 in Taiwan!

On my travels...: Day 8: Taipei
http://kathryn-onmytravels.blogspot.com/2009/10/day-8-taipei.html
Thursday, 22 October 2009. I'm so amazed at how many people are reading this blog, not that I'm complaining like! We all chatted before walking to the restaurant which was a mixture of Taiwanese and Burmese and very nice indeed! Here I had quite a long conversation with Paul and a bit of a laugh about some of the things that have happened whilst we've been here so that was good! 22 October 2009 at 12:08. Started with breakfast which was American, fried ham, pancakes and egg, yummy! P) Next we went to Danshui on a boat over the river where we saw flying fish :D which were very cool and fun to watch, tried to get a video but not sure if I'll be able to see anything!

On my travels...: Day 5: A trip to Tainan
http://kathryn-onmytravels.blogspot.com/2009/10/day-5-trip-to-tainan.html
Wednesday, 21 October 2009. Day 5: A trip to Tainan. Well, firstly I must apologise for the lack of blogging due to having no internet at the house where I have been staying for the past 2 nights so this is a catch up one! We picked up an elder from the local church and went to the oldest street in Tainan where we ate (apparently) traditional Taiwanese food. I avoided all fish this time as every time I’ve eaten it, I have been ill! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Dog Collars and Rabbit Corpses.

http://kathryn-onmytravels.blogspot.com/2009/10/day-6-all-education.html
Wednesday, 21 October 2009. Day 6: All the Education. Again, apologies for this being late. This morning started with a quiet drive to meet the others as the family I’m staying with can’t really speak English! After this we went for lunch, today I was given a special meat dish (yay! Everyone seemed to appreciate and enjoy what I said so it must of been the right thing. I’m currently in bed, quite cold as the air con is blaring out(! But tired so am going to go to sleep. Home soon though :) x.
