I didn’t feel much for creating an other flat Mandelbrot set. So I decided to make it a little more challenging for myself and try something in 3D. There are already many. Finally…! « Tha Narie - Webdeveloper
http://www.thanarie.nl/2010/02/01/finally
Most of the time when I try something new it gets lost at a dusty corner on my hard drive, when instead it could help some other people. And keeping a blog is a great way to keep track of the the things you’ve done in the past. At the moment thanarie.nl is running on a xampp install on my notebook, so it’s only up when I’m at home and not asleep. So step 1 is to re-install my old PC and use it as a server, and maybe get some hosting at a later time :). From your own site. February 25, 2010 at 15:57.

But I like the results :. How Does it work? In short, make an isosurface of the depth output from the Kinect and calculate the normals. Of course, you can also use the pixel data of the Kinect webcam to make hairs in the original object colours. But I liked the black images more. It’s uses openFrameworks.
