A little crafting, a little creativity, a little contemplation. Sunday, June 28, 2015. Yesterday I had a great time at a local rubber stamp show; I watched demos, did a few make-and-take projects, spent plenty of money . and won a card contest! This is the second time I've won the card contest at this particular stamp show (the first time was in 2012), and first prize is $100 to spend at any of the vendors at the show. Yippee! Home Shop Stampin Up. Stampin Up Promotions Photo Gallery Email Me. Thursday, June 28, 2012. Thanks with Pink Orange and Green. Now that Debby has passes hopefully things will get back to normal. The rain has been incredible and devastating for some. Thankfully we were spared. It didn't take as long as I expected and I'm pleased with the results. I don't worry about a lot of shading as some of the spaces were so small just a touch of the tip of the pen was all that was needed to color. Links to this post.

This card is for the glitter/shimmer/patterned paper challenges at Mod Squad and Simon Says. I started out with patterned paper and added glitter to all the flowers. The princess image and sentiment are from My Favorite Things. The image was colored with Copics and the Wink Of Stella glitter pen was used over the image. (It really shimmers! Watercolor Background and Emboss Resist. These cards were made with Brusho watercolor powders. First I embossed the flowers with white embossing powder. Then I sprinkled on the orange and yellow powders and spritzed with water. The images were cut with some dies from My Favorite Things. The sentiment is from Gina K. Designs, Friendship Blooms.
