We're parents of four very wonderful boys trying to figure it out as we go. Monday, May 30, 2011. Marriage Mondays in May {Anniversary}. The main reason I came up with the idea of Marriage Mondays in May was because our anniversary is this month. May 27 th. On a secluded beach (which is hard to find). He had prepared appetizers for us to enjoy as we sat and watched the sunset. It was so peaceful. I love the beach. I actually got a good picture of us. Moments before the sunset. This my dinner view. I feel...

http://atchisonfam.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
We're parents of four very wonderful boys trying to figure it out as we go. Tuesday, June 28, 2011. One of the things I love/miss the most are the Oklahoma skies. They are absolutely beautiful. The sunsets are beautiful. Even the storm clouds are beautiful. One night while we were there I went outside to find a storm coming are way (it actually went around us). The sky was a portrait of God. I love the light and dark contrast. The rain is coming, but not really. Monday, June 27, 2011. Here is one of the ...

http://sassyshoediary.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
A Red Heel State of Mind. Monday, February 28, 2011. Okay, smoothie lovers. I seek your advice. Starting tomorrow, March 1, I begin two months of healthy eating (and hopefully it will continue after…) Why two months? Besides as a child. *crossing fingers*. I am starting to make smoothies every morning but I just can’t get them to taste quite right. They are kind of bitter. Here’s the two I’ve made so far this week. So my question to you is…. What kind of healthy smoothies do you like to make? Here's what...

A Red Heel State of Mind: Things I Realized Today
http://sassyshoediary.blogspot.com/2011/06/things-i-realized-today.html
A Red Heel State of Mind. Friday, June 10, 2011. Things I Realized Today. Today was a day for realizations for me. I must have been feeling thoughtful. I love my job. I really do. I started in May and I couldn't be happier. If I wrote down everything I wanted and needed in a job, it would be the position I have now. I feel so blessed! I love my team. (It's crazy to say I have a team.) I took them to lunch and they are a great group of women whom I respect greatly. My pocketbook cannot handle that! That i...

A Red Heel State of Mind: The High is Back
http://sassyshoediary.blogspot.com/2011/10/high-is-back.html
A Red Heel State of Mind. Sunday, October 23, 2011. The High is Back. Tonight I feel elated. For a wonderful reason, too. I ran today. It had been over 7 months since I've gone for a run (due to my knee injury). Fast forward through physical therapy, lots of rest and a 16 weight gain because of lack of exercise, today I laced up my running shoes that I hadn't worn since mid-March and scrambled to find my favorite shorts, socks and sports bra. I never complained once. I pushed it at the end. There is noth...

A Red Heel State of Mind. Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Love Me Some Clothing Swaps. I hosted my first clothing swap last week and it went great! All but two of the girls who came were swap newbies so it was fun to introduce a swap to them. I think they all enjoyed it and left with some "new" finds. Nothing better than getting new clothes for free! Here's my tips for hosting a swap:. Invite a variety of girls - all shapes and sizes - and give them some advance notice so they can gather up items. Flats are my ne...

http://sassyshoediary.blogspot.com/2012/06/thats-coloriffic.html
A Red Heel State of Mind. Saturday, June 23, 2012. Today was finally the day of The Color Run. My friend Julie and I were so excited when the race announced they were coming to our city. How could we say no to a colorful, fun 5K? We were in the second wave of 1,000 to start. Check out the crowd in front of us! Julie and I before the race. And here's me afterward! Despite the fact I cramped big time during it (excruciating tearing pain - what gives! Have you done a Color Run? View my complete profile.
