The Wastepapers: January 2014
http://thewastepapers.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 28, 2014. I've recently been re-reading Susannah Conway's book This I Know. Admittedly, there was a long period of my life when I was not at peace with what I saw. As a teenager and in my early twenties I was extremely self-conscious. I aways looked in the mirror with a list of if onlys. If only my nose wasn't so wide. If only my eyes didn't squint up when I smile. If only my face were more narrow. If only I was thinner. Saturday, January 4, 2014. Filling the Well and Letting it Rain.

Jewelry, Art and the Rest of My Right Brain: Rain, Rain and More Rain..
http://hsuleedesigns.blogspot.com/2012/12/rain-rain-and-more-rain.html
Sunday, December 2, 2012. Rain, Rain and More Rain. Photo by Carlos Avila Gonzales. The good thing about the rain is that the state could always use the water. So. we're getting our reservoirs topped off a bit. And that's good for plants and maybe even the little birds in the air that want to quench their thirst. Either way, my head is in a cloud of SEO's and Etsy and keywords and social media, etc., etc. Does anyone else find this all kind of hard and super tedious? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Handwork Chronicles: We're in Real Simple magazine!!
http://handworkchronicles.blogspot.com/2012/11/were-in-real-simple-magazine.html
Tuesday, November 6, 2012. We're in Real Simple magazine! A couple of months ago I told you that I had a request from a magazine to feature one of my items in their magazine. We went back and forth on the colors, and in the end I created a packaging and gift wrap kit specifically for them. And then I held my breath, and hoped like heck that it made the final cut after the stylist and photographers had their way with it. Is featured in the December 2012 issue of Real Simple magazine! HOW cool is THAT!
