My photos, travels and anything else interesting. We went to see the Malaysian. Grand Prix just outside Kuala Lumpur. Well I finally uploaded the photos to flickr. Anyway we started the weekend and got all the kit together. Earplugs, little kangaroo TV so we could follow the live action,cameras, beer to keep cool, ice cream etc. The start was very impressive to see. You can see a burst of photos from the start here. My photos, travels and anything else interesting. To Hell and Back. Lorna and some of her friends recently did a mountain bike race called "To Hell and Back". This race goes via the Swartberg pass down into the Gamkaskloof (also known as "Die Hel"). It is a two day race with day 1 going to the Gamkaskloof and day 2 being back out. The Road to Hell. The route starts near the Cango Caves and goes over the pass. Then it turns off the pass and heads towards the valley. Swimming at the river. To hell and back.

We took a bit of time to go and explore the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. You can head to the hotel and freely explore the lobby area. For S$20 per person you can also head up to the observation deck (called the Sands SkyPark. You can also see more on flickr. In the lobby looking up. More in the lobby.
