Linux, Debian, Technology, and various other thoughts. Why Newegg has turned into Blackegg? Many-a-times the deals were the best anyone could get from other online retailers in Canada. However, over time the deals have become "cold" as many would say. I have noticed that pattern even in their ShellShocker deals. The latest example is the ShellShocker Soul by Ludacris SL49C earphones. They are listed in the deal for $58.31 and free shipping (with original price as $103.31). That looks like.

Random Scribbles: TorBrowser 3.6.3 no browser window behaviour

http://ksvichaar.blogspot.com/2014/08/torbrowser-363-no-browser-window.html

Linux, Debian, Technology, and various other thoughts. TorBrowser 3.6.3 no browser window behaviour. Since upgrading to TorBrowser. I have noticed that after the first session when I tried to restart TorBrowser, Tor would show that connection was made but no browser window would come up! Both tor.exe and firefox.exe *32 processes show in task manager though. One option is to go back to 3.6.2 as the Tor version hasn't changed as suggested by some users on the announcement blog post.

Linux, Debian, Technology, and various other thoughts. Picked up a Logitech M515. Mouse from Bureau en Gros/Staples ($40). The mouse is sealed at the bottom, except for the On/Off switch. It has one of those "unifying" receiver for the wireless function. Here the main points:. Scroll-wheel does not do the middle-click. If you do the middle click, it toggles the scroll wheel to free scroll or clickity-click wheel. The middle-click is done by the [o] button near the wheel. I like the smooth scrolling wheel.

Our awesome dispersed campsite was available when we drove up to it at 7:45pm, set up the tent and got right on those tin foil dinners, which apparently are made of “tin foil” as Dixon thought. Fishing at Clear Lake landed us 7 trout, two bites and 4 throw backs and the 2year fish catching drought ended! Tuesday, February 26, 2013. Raspberry Pi as a transparent squid caching proxy. Means spending a fair amount of time building and customizing bootable cloud images. A lot of this time is spent waiting for RPMs, debs and tarballs to be downloaded by a vanilla guest OS running inside a VM.
