Greg Reddick is a noted speaker, author, and software engineer. All Encrypted, All the Time. The EFF, Mozilla, Cisco, and Akamai announced Let's Encrypt. Let's Encrypt will give out free certificates for encrypting web servers. You just use an automated interface and get a certificate. There will be no excuse for not using SSL/TLS everywhere. I talked about this in a previous post, but this really makes it a reality. Coming summer of 2015. Certificates plus IPv6 will give us a more secure Internet.
