Since I got back, it’s been wonderful to find a startup and indie community organically forming around co-working spaces. And all kinds of meetup groups. Eg for startup founders. To mark the occasion, I brainstormed a (preliminary) list of things I love about New York. Everybody here seems to have moved to New York. Barely anybody grew up here. Making this overwhelmingly a city of individual choice. Serve good sandwiches and are just around the corner everywhere. Is amazing. Large slices are sold everywhere. The chili flakes are good. Everybody here is hustling.

Add a motion recognizer (for detecting shakes) to a UIResponder. Calls a block a given number of times, spread out over a given duration, with the between-calls delays determined by a given Bézier curve. Think of it as an NSTimer with custom acceleration.
