how much is the fish?: Bass/Metals

http://howmuchisthefish.blogspot.com/2012/01/bassmetals.html

How much is the fish? Random thoughts about music and other stuff from an itinerant bass player. On Thursday, 19 January 2012. Another podcast this time of stuff made primarily by the double bass, accompanied on occasion by percussion, metals, tape and prepared piano. Includes Dumitrescu's Cogito, which is as dark as proverbial pitch. A guaranteed floorfiller. Photo by Rosie McLaughlin. Some people i play with. Wot I listen to. Don't Get Me Started. Wednesday, February 20, 2013. In August, we went to the balloon festival in Lincoln with Granny and Papa. It was an awesome event for kids. Brody and Liv LOVED watching the balloons and the "glow" at the end. Brody also got to partake in some bungy jumping too. We thought he would like it because he loves bounce houses. Boy, were we right! He's our fearless man. It was soo fun watching our brave little guy! Our family of four. The harness was a little big on him :). The kiddos with Granny and Papa.

Bloggin' with the Boerners

Bloggin' with the Boerners. Read all the latest news about our family. Saturday, October 27, 2007. Last night, Noah shared his optimism with two very special people who are in hospital beds. Noah's very good friend, Jacob, was in an automobile accident on Thursday. He has a broken femur and a bruised spleen. Having his buddy, Noah, come visit seemed to brighten his day. We all are grateful that Jacob is doing well and we're praying that healing will come quickly. Get well, soon, Uncle Ed! He restores my ...

Bloggin' with the Brewley's. It's Been a While! Well it's been since Easter since I've blogged. I've been so busy, the grandparents have visited, we've been through Mother's Day, we went to the All-star Race in Charlotte NC, I planned my first Field Day, Wes's. Eyes have been swollen shut from mosquito bites, the end of school came, we went to Bush Gardens, I got my wisdom teeth pulled(all 4), and Deon had his 2 nd. For lunch and Wes got up and went to. Life has been great in the Brewley. We had a great ...

Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Delemia of a School Librarian. ILOVEBOOKS. Especially children's books! This is why I love my job so much. I get to read children's books to children, I get to select children's books for our school, and I get to work with the kids in the media center. Awhile back I selected this book:. Its A Book" by Lane Smith! I absoutley love this book, comparing reading a book to the digital age we live in of texting, facebooking, and blogging. It is hilarious! So what is my delemia? I lov...

Wednesday, April 27, 2011. My journey through grappling with this and changing sides of the argument reflects my general relationship with Women’s studies and feminism. Posted by Abby Lowe. Enloe’s introduction talks about the importance of being curious and understanding what, how and why certain groups are oppressed. I felt that her introduction correlated strongly to the goals of this women’s studies course. It was interesting to connect this introduction to Johnson’s essay on patriarchy. Many people ...

Thursday, September 1, 2011. I've decided that starting school every year is much like getting your wisdom teeth pulled. It's painful, it hurts, you wish you'd never done it, you're going to look like a chipmunk for a week and there will most likely be an infection and a migraine, and it's painful. We've had all those symptoms except for the chipmunk face (unless you count how I look after I've been crying for an hour). Eva has just been continually unhealthy. God bless her for her consistency. This is p...

Bloggin' from SA WC '10

Bloggin' from SA WC '10. Monday, 28 June 2010. Some random closing thoughts. The big issue before travel was security and I have deliberately not commented on this anywhere on this blog, until now! South Africa has a high crime rate and the problem is not solved forever, but so does Africa and so do many other cities in the world. Finally, I should break the news to our wives that yes, we have already started contemplating our trip to Brazil for the 2014 competition. Then please do so! And so to the plan...
