The Tough Question: ‘Where Was God? Written on December 21st, 2012. KANDAHAR, AFGHANISTAN (December 21, 2012) Even in this country so torn by daily violence, people are asking theological questions about the murders at Sandy Hook Elementary School in the quaint community of Newtown, Connecticut. US Army Major and Covenant Chaplain John Grauer spoke about the murders at the end of his sermon to troops here last Sunday. Throughout the week, Grauer says, They kept coming up to me and asking, ‘Where was God?

La Familia Isaza: September 2011

http://lafamiliaisaza.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html

Friday, September 9, 2011. August was a crazy month! Especially because we spent so much of it on the road. We had the opportunity to travel to the west coast and visit the Seattle area for the first time. We stayed with our friends, the Mohns, and were able to visit other friends in the area and enjoy some of the sights, despite the busy schedule of visiting churches and speaking. There is so much more to read about here! Posted by THE ISAZAS. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

The nights get down into the mid 60's at night but up to around 100 duri...Enjoy the win...

Then again, something big happens and I still don't seem to get round to writing about it. Our huts were the two up in the rocks. Poor Grandma had to hike up and down...

The stoll street blog. Roger and Kathys ups and downs, ins and outs and behind the scene coverage of life and ministry in West Africa. Saturday, 9 November 2013. Since Elena is in high school, she has to collect community service points. She and some others do this by going to an orphanage once a week. The other day, she taught a lesson to the kids there.
