Bright Futures | Bright Futures Q&A: Michelle Xu
http://blogs.osa-opn.org/BrightFuturesBlog/post/Bright-Futures-QA-Michelle-Xu
How to Give a Great Research Presentation. Bright Futures Q&A: Michelle Xu. OPN: Many people in science initially envision themselves in an academic career. Was that your initial goal? If not, what career trajectory were you envisioning for yourself? I did not initially consider an academic career because I was told that I was not smart. On one of my first grade tests, I thought that 1 1=11. OPN: How did you end up at Intel? OPN: What was it like to transition from your lab to a large company like Intel?

Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Many should be better than one. Multi-aperture imaging. What is that? Many cameras (lenses/apertures) that work in some synchronized fashion to give something more than a single camera. typically wider field of view or more resolution. Multi-aperture imaging has been noticeably prominent at many places in the Imaging Congress. And I’ll probably write a bit about it here. The James Webb Space Telescope has many foldable.
