Oil to deep fry. 1Make the filling for onions sauting with some salt,chilli powder and curry powder. 2Mix the maida with water to make into paste. 3Thaw the pastry sheets for one hour.Gently remove each sheet and cut them into triangles. Friday, August 29, 2014. Rava ladu - Vinayagar Chathurthi. Hope you had enough of kozhukattais for vinayagar chathurthi.I made this yesterday,so i dont need to rush on chathurthi day.The rava laddu can be stored for a month. Cashew nuts n raisins-2 tbsps. 1Dissolve sugar in water and microwave(boil) it for 3-4 minutes. 2Heat a pan,add oil and fry nuts .raisins until it turns crispy. 3Add the rava to the pan and roast in medium flame for 6-7 minutes. Maida-1 ½ cup. 1 Preheat the oven for 200*C. 2 Sieve the dry ingredients and set aside. 3 Blend all the wet ingredients and fold both mixtures gently. 4Sprinkle the dates in the batter. 5 Fill ¾ of the muffin liners with the cake batter and sprinkle some cashews on top. 6 Bake 170*C for 20 minutes.
