Ashley Dawn: October 2014
http://ashley21dawn.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 22, 2014. This fall has been beautiful and we have been taking advantage of the weather! A few weekends ago Rick and I took Natalie to Center Grove Orchard. We had gone last year but Natalie was too little to do much, but this year she could do more. We got there first thing that morning but it was pretty busy by the time we left. Natalie was very excited to jump on the big pillow, but she wasn't brave enough to head to the middle to do much jumping. It was a great family outing! There...

Ashley Dawn: Happy Easter!
http://ashley21dawn.blogspot.com/2015/04/happy-easter.html
Sunday, April 05, 2015. We had a great weekend and I thought I would share some pictures. It was a busy weekend. Saturday morning we went over to my sister's house so the girls could play. Their cat had just had kittens so Natalie got to pet them. She was a little hesitant at first (she tends to be scared of most things), but she thought they were soft and liked petting them. This morning we didn't have sunrise service for a (nice) change, so we had a leisurely morning with breakfast at church. After...

Ashley Dawn: May 2014
http://ashley21dawn.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 31, 2014. Sorry for the long hiatus, but we've been really busy the past month! I'm sure I won't get it all captured so I'll try and hit the highlights and pepper the post with some cute photos. The weekend after that my cousin's daughter graduated from high school (congratulations, Katelyn! So we went home to help celebrate. Most of the weekend was spent at Grandma and Grandpa's and Kendall came over to play again. More toddler energy madness! Last weekend Rick's dad came to visit. We ...

Ashley Dawn: March 2015
http://ashley21dawn.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 08, 2015. February- short but sweet. As we are a full week into March I realize I never updated in February. We had a lot of family time in February and a lot of fun with our little girl! We finished our Water Babies classes the first week of February and although Natalie loves them, I was ready for them to be done. Not super exciting for me and I'm not sure she really learned anything, but I know she loved the pool time and the songs that were sung. Yesterday we enjoyed the weather but oth...

A Step Towards Domestic. Well, There’s No Place Like…. December 4, 2013. 8220;HOME for the holidays! 8221; Is this song running through your head now? I LOVE that song.🙂. We started celebrating a week few days early this year, by caravanning up to Cedar Falls and the UNI Dome to watch cousin Phil and Kuemper play in the 2A Championship Football Game vs. Sioux Central. 58 had a great fan club! By a prayer and a last second (literally) field goal. The natives get restless and start circling around 11.

Ashley Dawn: August 2014
http://ashley21dawn.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 25, 2014. Iowa State Fair and more! I was a little nervous to go all day at the fair without a real sanctioned nap, but Natalie did ok sleeping in the stroller. Not great sleep, but enough to get her through the day. She was crabby for a while but did well for the most part. She loved spending the day with her cousin and seeing all the animals! Of course we had to go on a train ride, Natalie's favorite part! Saturday, August 02, 2014. This weekend is the first weekend I have had off since ...

So I Took a Vacation…. – A Step Towards Domestic
https://steptowardsdomestic.wordpress.com/2015/04/17/so-i-took-a-vacation
A Step Towards Domestic. So I Took a Vacation. April 17, 2015. So I took a blogcation.that apparently lasted a year. Wow. I can tell you it’s been a busy, crazy, wonderful, challenging and as always, amazing year in the life. I solemnly vow to be slightly less of a slacker the next 12 months. Trip to Portland, Oregon for conference education and a visit to the Cook Cousins. Great events for #ISUCALS. Highly eventful weekends of watching my favorite short people. Some of my favorite memories this year:.

Oh, the Weather Outside…. – A Step Towards Domestic
https://steptowardsdomestic.wordpress.com/2014/01/07/oh-the-weather-outside
A Step Towards Domestic. Oh, the Weather Outside…. January 7, 2014. January 8, 2014. STINKS (very articulate, I know)! I know, you’re all sick of hearing about the weather….me too, however–that’s not going to stop me today. As you can tell, this is the topic fueling my post today. Last evening, I overheard a conversation in the grocery store (of all places). It included an individual discussing how. She was listening to everyone. 8220;blather on”. 8220;Thanking a farmer, and everything”. She was holding ...

Wednesday, December 31, 2014. As always, time gets away from me and here we are at the end of the year. We have had a great few past weeks and though this will be short, I thought I would post some pictures. Natalie and Kendall turned two this month and we threw a joint Minnie Mouse themed party. The girls loved it, the grandmas loved it, the parents loved it. It was a great celebration of two great little girls! Cake made by Kendall's grandma. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
