Six months .and I know that there’s a lot to get finished up in that time . but it’s kinda feeling like for-evvv-errrr right now. Me: setting out on a weight loss journey}. A little about me:. December 9, 2009. Since I haven’t posted in a while. I’ll post twice in one day! My last post was just listing off dates and appointments that I’ve gone to. This one is a little bit more. thoughtful. Okay, some honesty. Not enough guilt to make me stop doing that right now. Is it a way of slowing saying goodbye to eating fast and drinking with my meals. I’d love to hear how others with the band dealt with the months leading up to surgery.

And ever year at Christmas time we have our Holiday party in Long Island . it’s a time for eating in abundance and drinking the same amount. I’m wondering how this will be different in one year from now! I know I won’t be able to eat and drink the way I did this year. but that’s a good thing. In just 1.3 lbs, I will be at my first major goal, which is to reach the original weight loss number that I hit two summers ago after having surgery. This is so awesome! Diary of a (nearly) Content Woman. Friday, July 27, 2012. Feeling Thin: A Cruel Trick of Nature? How I feel vs. How I look. So I've been going strong on this new eating regimen of mine (no, not a diet) since July 2nd. I feel good, I've lost 10 pounds, and I am ahead of my anticipated goal. Wa-Hoo! When you look at your ankles and wrists and they seem smaller? Then you look in the mirror and realize: WTF were you thinking, dumbass? That is what I experienced today. Yep. Hate it. HATE IT!
