http://kmsteiger.blogspot.com/2014/06/happy-birthday-ryan.html
Monday, June 30, 2014. Happy Birthday, Ryan! I love my Ryan so much and I cannot believe he is 4 years old! On the morning of his 4th birthday, I over heard him saying, "I feel like I'm 4! And then the morning after his birthday, he woke up with a bad dream, seemed to fall back asleep, and then his eyes popped open, his face broke into a grin, and he said, "I'm still 4! Love those boys being boys! What a fun party! January 6, 2015 at 8:40 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Emmy explains, Sophie says.

But don't you remember you told me that when you turned six you'd remember everything that happened when you were five?

Wake up Slow: September 2013
http://kmsteiger.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 11, 2013. I can hardly believe it has been half a year already. It is hard to remember what life was like before you joined our family. You have brought so much happiness to each one of us. 8221; and “I’m so happy.” That about sums up my life with you so far. I truly enjoyed my one-on-one time with you in the hospital. I loved holding you close and staring at your perfect little head, staring eyes, tiny cleft chin, and curved lips. I was thrilled to see a hint of red hair. Sophie's t...

Wake up Slow: August 2014
http://kmsteiger.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 31, 2014. Sunday, August 24, 2014. Last week I bought lots and lots of raspberries. I made raspberry jam, old-fashioned raspberry ice cream sodas, lemon raspberry cupcakes, summer fruit crostata, and raspberry puree which we drizzled over our french-toast. To everything there is a season - and I've sure enjoyed this one. Really pronounced, "Bi? What a tender boy. And when we are alone, just the two of us, playing something, almost always, unprompted, he will announce, "Mommy, I love yo...

Wake up Slow: May 2014
http://kmsteiger.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 29, 2014. Life just doesn't get much better. I don't cry very often, but you can always count on me shedding a few tears at the end of each school year. I am moved by hard-working, children-loving teachers who put their hearts into their job day after day - year after year - growing to love each new class and then saying goodbye again. Kindergarten is magical - so I am particularly sad that the year has come to a close for Sophie. Farmer's Market shaved ice - Welcome Summer. Also today, whi...
