Tender Transplants | Blue Jeans and Cotton Tees
http://www.bluejeansandcottontees.com/tender-transplants
Blue Jeans and Cotton Tees. Random Thoughts from Rural America. April 30, 2015. I’ve spent a great deal of time digging in the dirt in the last few weeks. I’ve divided African violets, re-potted house plants, and transplanted tender seedlings into larger containers. Tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, cabbage, eggplants, cauliflower. It’s a slow, meticulous and rather messy job, but it does give one a great deal of time to think. They need more room. New jobs, new classes, new friends. Roots that will help you ...

Blue Jeans and Cotton Tees. Random Thoughts from Rural America. Buddy’s Taco Popcorn. April 27, 2015. I think it’s safe to say that Buddy is addicted to popcorn. He has some at least once a day – some days twice. There are even days when he pops popcorn before the dishes from the last meal are dried. But then – he is a teen age boy and thus – a bottomless pit. Good thing popcorn is cheap and filling. He was like a mad scientist with all kinds of spices in front of him. And I do mean a kick! Drinking from...

Blue Jeans and Cotton Tees. Random Thoughts from Rural America. The North Shore Reunion. August 10, 2016. We made some sweet family memories last weekend. All of Jan’s family (except for our Matt) gathered at his brother’s cabins in northern Minnesota. Grandpa, Grandma, uncles, aunts, and lots and lots of cousins. Traveling from four different states for a few days of fun in the north woods. Cousins that seldom see each other wasted no time in having epic adventures. Wild blue berry picking. July 20, 2016.

http://connect-dots-garden.blogspot.com/2010/06/tour-through-my-garden.html
Wednesday, June 16, 2010. A Tour through My Garden. I wanted to share what is happening in my garden. It has been so hot for the last few days with temps in the upper 90s and the heat index pushing 100 . Thankfully, my garden did receive a small shower yesterday. It looked so "refreshed" after the rain. I also have okra, strawberries, tomatoes, green beans (bush and pole), zucchini, corn, and bell peppers growing in my garden. Thanks for touring my garden with me today. Check out other gardens on Tuesday...

Monday, April 28, 2008. Ever have one of those days? When you suddenly realize that your life has changed forever? Maybe it happens in a second.maybe a day.maybe longer. Somehow, we've found ourselves smack in the middle of one of those! But, even back then.the change was starting, little did I know. Well, it didn't take long to decide that this was the litt...

Blue Jeans and Cotton Tees: Rural Life
Blue Jeans and Cotton Tees. Random Thoughts from Rural America. March 13, 2018. I had a birthday last month, but honestly, I didn’t feel any older. At least for awhile. Then on Sunday I as was working with the youth group at church, one gal noticed the old-school rotary telephone still hanging on the wall in the kitchen.
