Thursday, March 23, 2006. Admin Assistant Your News in Region II. Technology in US Soccer. The Midwest Our Rising Star (Region II). Kentucky is the home of a state association which has actually done a pretty good job of filtering registration down to the clubs. While the clubs certainly struggle on the front end (website look and feel), it seems that many of the clubs are satisfied with the relationship between the club and state (a task which has escaped many states around the country). I was born In H...

Wednesday, May 10, 2006. Region III Top Soccer Clubs. Another club which has found recent dominance with Region III Boys soccer is CASL Elite out of Raleigh North Carolina. Other than Chicago Magic, CASL is the only club to have three boy’s teams reach the finals of US Youth Soccer National Championships in the last three years. This is certainly an astounding feat which the club will look to continue this year. While these clubs are going in the right direction I feel they are losing in the race to the ...

Thursday, March 23, 2006. Admin Assistant Your News in Region I. Technology in US Soccer. Many clubs are currently following the trends set by these six states, and the North is beginning to increase its level of automation at the club level. Even clubs in a state with a mandated registration provider are moving towards separate providers who can best fit their club needs. Did you know that a Club can integrate with any State in the North East despite the technology that is being used? The format that we...

Wednesday, May 10, 2006. Region I Top Soccer Clubs. When looking specifically at the top clubs in Region I on the boys side there are several clubs which have a tradition of being dominant not only in the region but on the national scene as well. FC Delco (Penn East), Bethesda (MD), Potomac (MD) and FC Greater Boston (MA) fit the mold as the perennial powerhouses in this region. While Maryland is certainly a soccer hotbed in Region I, the strongest state as far as depth and talent is Virginia. Clubs ...

The three state associations which have seemed to control Region II are Missouri, Illinois, and Ohio South. Nebraska is not the only state which has seen its level of soccer rise within recent years. Kentucky, ...
