http://woodylogicsurfboards.blogspot.com/2015/05/something-new.html
Wednesday, May 13, 2015. For a long time I've been wanting to do a mexican blanket board. They are very unique. I did mine with food coloring and marker pens. The leash plug and recessed vent port have been installed. The board is ready for glass. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Builder/shaper of hollow wood surfboards. Saturday, August 22, 2015. I'm working on a new project. It's a smaller high performance type board. For this one I'm using paulownia for the bottom and deck. It's easy to work. The board is very light and strong. Next, the balsa rail strips are applied. Thanks to Randy Bogardus for sending me the paulownia. He does beautiful work at Clearwood Paddleboards. Woody Logic Surfboards: Favorite places
http://woodylogicsurfboards.blogspot.com/2010/06/favorite-places.html
Tuesday, June 22, 2010. I'm very comfortable with this board now. It's such an easy board to surf and catch waves on. It's easy to control and doesn't require a lot of effort to turn or drop-in. By far the most user friendly board I've ever designed and built. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Builder/shaper of hollow wood surfboards. The shop is located in Ormond Beach, Florida. Nose is 6" and tail is 2". It should finish out at 21 1-2" wide. I'm looking forward to this build. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Builder/shaper of hollow wood surfboards. Tuesday, May 5, 2015. The last couple of days I've been shaping the rails, nose and tail. It's great working with the balsa wood. Real easy to work and control. The rails turned out just like I like them. There are some little things that I have to fix on the top and bottom. Next I'll install the vent port and leash plug. The board feels very light. Probably the most time consuming phase of any of my builds is gluing on the rail strips. The first one is the hardest. With a little shrin. Great looking paddle board.
