http://ketchupandgreeniebeanies.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 27, 2013. My Name is Max and I Am Thankful For…". The 24 kids in Max's class put on a play about the first Thanksgiving as part of their reading project titled "Thank you, Squanto". I actually learned a lot, too! Funny what you forget as you get older. Mr Knightstep narrated. Most kids didn't speak but Max did have one line "Let us go away from this country! Imagine how great it would have been! Happy Thanksgiving, All! Snowy day getting off the bus after the play).

Ketchup & Greenie Beanies: June 2014

Thursday, June 12, 2014. A Puppy For Max. We are finally giving in. Max has begged for a dog for years and we have always said no. We know who would really take care of him, right? For a few years having an outdoor cat sufficed as a pet, even though in our experience you don't really play with a cat like you do a dog. (no offense cat lovers) Our kitty didn't want much to do with us unless we were giving her food. It was perfect timing. Fate even. Here are some photos of the day Max and Flip met. Max ...

Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Last Day of 4th Grade, June 5, 2015. The last day of 4th grade was June 5. Max had to leave school early that day for a swim meet at Miami University. Grandma and Grandpa were up from TX to watch even! Below are some photos from the first day of 4th grade (beginning of the photos) and the last day of 4th grade (end of the photos) for comparison. I am pretty sure Flip changed more than Max did! How cool to see the difference…. I was able to sneak a few photos of that as well.

Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Kettering Kids Fun in the Sun Triathlon, 2015. The event was divided up by age groups. It was a 100 m swim (Max wished for longer, of course), a 2.5 mile bike, and a 1 mile run. I honestly think the toughest part of the whole race for Max was the transition from swim to bike. He is so helpless when it comes to putting socks on wet feet. I wanted to jump in and help! He did awesome though and loved the competition of it! He honestly did great. It was really fun to watch. It was...

Saturday, December 27, 2014. End of the Year Craziness. I haven't blogged in months so get ready for a long post…. This time of year is nutty for everyone but I feel it is especially so for us. We go from Thanksgiving to Max's birthday to our anniversary to Christmas. Throw in a puppy, three swim meets (one being a travel meet), a sick child for 6 days, shopping to do, wrapping to complete, work to finish before the end of the year… you get the idea. NUTTY! No wonder I haven't blogged. ;). Afterward he c...

Sunday, July 6, 2014. We continue to go visit Flip Turner Christensen once a week. This weekend he turned 5 weeks old. That means just about three weeks until he can come home with us. (To a house filled with clutter and boxes that we have no clue what to do with after the move! Here are a few pics I snapped during this visit… Puppy love. Colleen Christensen, Photographer. Ketchup & Greenie Beanies: February 2014

Monday, February 17, 2014. State Regional Championships- 2014. The next meet at Miami University he got another JO in the 100 back! He began to question if he were actually going to be a backstroker (everyone always tells him his is a butterflier). Don't worry though, after a week long break at Christmas he was back at it with meets nearly every weekend in January. He got his JO cut in the 50 butterfly next and inched closer to the cut in a few other events…. Missed the cut for the 200 freestyle. He earn...
