Burlington Northern Santa Fe. Anna, Ohio 2005. This is what happens when a couple is broken by poor train handling. Slack is extremely powerful! The coupler head broke off, rolled under the car and derailed it at 50MPH! The couple ended up about 50 yards out in the field to the left. I'm sure the tapes were pulled and the crew got a drug test! Slater, Ohio 1980 (approx.). Slater Jct. was to be a key east / west junction in early DT&I history, but those grand plans never made it off the drawing board.
