Tuesday, July 07, 2009. Killdeer at Sherburne NWR. We immediately backed off and the bird took a few steps to the right and sat down. I started to take some photographs only to realize that this bird was actually sitting on an egg. She had made her nest (for all practical purposes) right in the middle of the parking area! Anyway, we backed away to the car, which was only about 20 feet from the nest, and left the bird alone. Here are the shots that came out of that brief encounter with the Killdeer.

Friday, October 24, 2008. I was recently down in Stillwater walking along the river and snapped a few shots of the gulls. They were so close I decided to get a few head shots. Bob's SBS and stuff blog. Monday, March 10, 2014. Adventures in Virtualizing SBS 2008. Shutdown the virtual machine. Used Hyper-V manager to edit disk and expand it to 1 TB. Mounted the VHDX and its Original copy. Formatted the 2nd partition. Using Disk Manager extended the OS partition to 200Gig. Used Ghost to copy the second partition from the Original VHDX file. Detached the virtual disks. Powered up the virtual machine. Works like a charm. The DNS Server service terminated with the following error.
