As regular readers know I cant stand the “Christmas Thing! 8221; so if I find myself in the country I tend to run for the hills to get away from the madness. I arrived back from Cape Verde on the 23rd late, by the time I got home it was 01:30. I got up the next morning and loosely packed my kit before heading North.

When the bell’s rang at midnight bringing 2013 in it was mild with a bit of rain! The snow I had spent Christmas. In was being stripped back to nothing and the hills were bare again. Somewhere to be when you want to be somewhere else. Friday, October 31, 2014. Autumn is in my opinion the best time to go Open Canoeing. If the weather settles as it has for the last couple of days, you get flat calm lochs and amazing colours in the trees. After a very busy couple of weeks I really needed to recharge my batteries. Somewhere to be when you want to be somewhere else. Monday, April 20, 2015. Last week was a great week for getting out on my BMW 800 GSA. I covered over 300 miles and was on some of the best roads in Perthshire. The sun was out as was the rain at times. South Side of Loch Tummel. I had lots of brew stops and enjoyed the riding. Glen Quoich in Deeside. North Side of Loch Rannoch. Some of the views were amazing. Scotland really is an awesome place. Posted by Cam Allan.

Somewhere to be when you want to be somewhere else. Monday, January 19, 2015. Another ski tour today up Bein Ghlas this time. Just west of Ben Lawers. We did have a bit of trouble getting there sliding off the road and having to jack the car up to get it out the ditch. Not my car I would like to add. When we did get up there we were rewarded with sunny weather and snow conditions that were pretty good. We could see for miles. 35km ski back to the car. Another happy day up the hills. Till minne av Dolly. Kennel Bobinsky - Parson russell terrier. 2015 är Lovis år. Lovis har verkligen blommat upp så här efter att hon gått och blivit veteran. Hon har startat i agilitytävling i Tranås vilket resulterade i ett nollat lopp och en 5:e plats av 26 starter. Gammal är äldst som man brukar säga. Buttran är uppflyttad till klass 3 och Burpee tar första pinnen! Buttran och Carina lyckades efter en tids vila knipa sista pinnen i agilityklass och kunde därmed flytta upp till klass 3 i agility!
