Friday, August 25, 2006. Ocean Shores for R&R. As reported in my last blog, I have not been getting any good sleep for a long time. So Sunday afternoon Karen and I took off for Ocean Shores. We had VBS, I did a lot of visiting and we had the PMA picnic. Seems like summer is getting more and more hectic. The highlight of the trip, for me, was the river rafting trip we took on Thursday. I made this at our 2014 Easter dinner, combined from several recipes on the web. 6 ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped. 1 red onion, finely chopped. 1 cucumber, peeled, seeded, chopped. 1 red bell pepper, seeded and chopped. 1 large or 2 small zucchini, chopped. 2 stalks of celery, chopped. 1-2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley.
