April 25, 2007. Bodhi had a TPLO due to a ruptured cruciate ligament in his right leg. It took a couple of months for full recovery due to an infection resulting. From the surgery, but Bodhi now has 100% use of his leg and shows no signs of any pain. It was discovered during pre-op xrays that Bodhi. Has congenital arthritis in his left ankle. Hopefully this will not develop into a problem for many years.

March 12, 2006. Below is information related to neurosurgery for dogs with hydrocephalus. This particular surgery is not indicated in Bodhi's case simply because he has a very little cortical part of his brain remaining. Removing the fluid will not increase how much cortical brain he has, and in Bodhi's case may make things worse, because his body has already learned how to compensate for what he has.
