http://ovamproject.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, 21 April 2012. Visit to Animals Inside Out. The Natural History Museum has a new exhibition by the well known German anatomists Gunter von Hagen called Animals Inside Out. We went along yesterday to have a look at their examples of plastination and skeletal structures. The exhibition starts out with a number of stunning presentations of octopuses and sharks like the figurehead (not hammer head! No trespassing beyond this point
http://nozomiiqelbefree.blogspot.com/2003_10_01_nozomiiqelbefree_archive.html
No trespassing beyond this point. Friday, October 31, 2003. I just saw on the news that The Exhibition. Is heading down to Singapore, at an exhibition hall not too far from where I stay. An estimated 400,000 is expected to turn out at this controversial exhibition. I want to be part of the stats! This is so (grotesquely) interesting. A total contrast to my Halloween night spent at home churning out project reports. Posted by wl : 11:23 PM. Wednesday, October 29, 2003. Posted by wl : 2:27 AM. Posted by wl...

The Human StRain: (Dead) Body Modification
http://thehumanstrain.blogspot.com/2008/04/dead-body-modification.html
How glorious it is . and also how painful . to be an exception in this world. Tuesday, 22 April 2008. The body modification discussed the different reasons for body modification including religion, fashion, sexual and memorial to the dead. Http:/ www.bodyworlds.com/en.html. This has been controversial (to say the least) but in a new twist an article appeared in the Times earlier this year in which it was reported that Dr von Hagens is planning to sell some chemically treated body parts to the public.

McHumor's Blog: Is It Art or is it Gross Anatomy?
http://mchumor.blogspot.com/2007/07/is-it-art-or-is-it-gross-anatomy.html
Occasional drivel from an Oregon based cartoonist and naturalist. Wednesday, July 25, 2007. Is It Art or is it Gross Anatomy? I thought about this when I went this weekend to Portland to see Body Worlds. A special exhibit at OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry). It's got dozens of bodies and body parts that have undergone a process called plastination. How to describe it? And are the plastinates- as the preserved bodies are called- art? As I went through the exhibit, I said "Woah" more times that...

The Spudwick Papers: December 2010
http://spudwickpapers.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
The Spudwick Papers: Review and Resolution. My intentions were good to keep up with the blog during the school year, especially since I figured I'd be encountering some intriguing people and subjects and debates (you're guaranteed some disagreements in a class of 40 people! However, here I am, on my Christmas break, thinking that maybe it's about time for an update. I am a student this year! Guess I better get some school supplies! What if I forget my lunch? Will anybody like me and want to be my friend?

Café, Sonhos e Desconstruções em fumaça de cigarro: Dr. MORTE
http://coffeeanddreams.blogspot.com/2010/04/dr-morte.html
