Scrapbook – Boldly Gold
http://www.boldlygold.com/category/scrapbook
In January 2015, I decided to start scrapbooking using the Project Life system and it was the best decision I made that year. Without even realising it I managed to document some of the best trips I’ve ever been on and our pretty spectacular engagement. So there was no way I was giving it up in 2016. I really enjoyed putting ...

Long time, no see! I’m coming out of a hiatus to show off one of the Christmas presents I made last year – A Buchanan Dressing Gown from Gather. You can get a better idea of the fabric and print in the picture above. Even with all my attention devoted to this project (I banned myself from Netflix so I could concentrate properly whilst sewing) I still managed to cock up the label and hanging loop placement. They should both be a good inch to the right. Tags buchanan dressing gown. I’ve been sewing! We wen...

Enjoying the simple things in life. March 6, 2017. March 7, 2017. In an effort to learn new skills, I did a small knit cable project today. Using up some wool yarn from my felted bag. I made a cup cozy. I found a simple pattern on Ravelry (free) by MissKnityPants. This looked like a simple enough pattern to start out with, and I was right! I finished it quickly and, for me, the hardest part was seaming my cast on/bind off edges. Have a lovely day! Find me on Ravelry: MrsMcD918. March 5, 2017. This is per...
A Healthy Journey – Simply Summer Street
https://simplysummerstreet.com/the-21-day-fix
Enjoying the simple things in life. When I had my kids close together, I gained 55 pounds. I was slowly losing the weight (very slowly). Then I was hit with very bad vertigo (4 months postpartum), and was unable to walk and out of work for almost 4 months. Eventually, I was back on the treadmill and running 4 times per week. Then we finally received the diagnosis of Autism for our son, which allowed us to receive specialized therapy everyday (ABA Therapy 6 hours/day). Along came The 21 Day Fix and Autumn.
