Kelsy Bingham: May 2011
http://kelsybingham.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
A window into my life as an athlete, a physician assistant, and wife. Hurt in the Dirt. Tuesday, May 17, 2011. Wow, it's been a really long time since the last post and lots has happened since our trip to Rabbit Valley! Craphe such a better spouse than me! But never the less, I trekked out and saddled up! Well, ok then, we'll just have to make it a training ride and catch as many of the expert men as possible! So I continued to push on knowing she would be chasing hard and because I wanted to match last ...

Kelsy Bingham: Back to the Front Range
http://kelsybingham.blogspot.com/2011/10/back-to-front-range.html
A window into my life as an athlete, a physician assistant, and wife. Hurt in the Dirt. Monday, October 31, 2011. Back to the Front Range. Chasing Heather and Amanda early in the race. It seems you have 18 UCI points." I quickly agreed with her before anyone else could hear. A mere 18 points is slightly embarrassing for those of you who don't know how the UCI points work. To put things in perspective, Katie Compton who is currently leading the points rankings has over 1,600 points! I know he would have m...

Kelsy Bingham: September 2011
http://kelsybingham.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
A window into my life as an athlete, a physician assistant, and wife. Hurt in the Dirt. Monday, September 26, 2011. Rainy Sun Prairie-USGP #1 Planet Bike Cup. On Friday afternoon we rode over to the venue to check out the course. It was more technical that the last couple races. Lots of off-camber turns, chicanes, and a nasty grass hill that is concievably rideable but the 3 railroad ties at the bottom turn it into a run-up! One of many off-camber turns during JP's race. The slick mud made for true test ...

Kelsy Bingham: March 2011
http://kelsybingham.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
A window into my life as an athlete, a physician assistant, and wife. Hurt in the Dirt. Monday, March 28, 2011. So Cal NOT So Nice! Another long road trip to California done! After about 5 minutes in, I was in my granny gear "warming up" on about a 20% grade. Rookie mistake #1 of the weekend! I couldn't help but smile, it seemed like so many things that just weren't quite right at the Bonelli race seemed to be great here in Fontana! This was going to be a good race day! Start of Lap 1. Once again, I got ...

Kelsy Bingham: April 2014

A window into my life as an athlete, a physician assistant, and wife. Hurt in the Dirt. Monday, April 7, 2014. Zion 50K: Changing it up. My new outlook was best compared to the overused "Life is a journey, not a destination" theme. Never the less it seemed to be working for me and I slowly transitioned out of the crazy life of a middle of the pack pro cyclist (a long story for another time) into life of a PA working 9 to 5. Enter Joel Hatch and THE CHANGE! I was trying to hold in my excitement on the dri...

Kelsy Bingham: January 2011
http://kelsybingham.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
A window into my life as an athlete, a physician assistant, and wife. Hurt in the Dirt. Friday, January 28, 2011. This unbelievably warm January weather is quite deceiving! The trails are great when they are hard-packed with snow, but 40 degree days melt that nice riding surface to an impassable swamp. Unless I want to live on the trainer, I'm left with two options: 1) Cold road rides on pot-holed, winter damaged roads or 2) Head South for dry dirt! Yes, Jeff. I know! Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Jason Sag...

A window into my life as an athlete, a physician assistant, and wife. Hurt in the Dirt. Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Bike Lessons from Coach John Wooden. The people who turn out best are those people who make the best out of the way things turn out. - Coach John Wooden. A great section of flowy descent with banked corners at the Utah State Championship Race. It started with a redline, full-throttle climb followed by a swooping descent with banked turns and all! Near the mid-point of the loop I complained out...

Kelsy Bingham: August 2011
http://kelsybingham.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
A window into my life as an athlete, a physician assistant, and wife. Hurt in the Dirt. Sunday, August 28, 2011. It's been how long? Wow, I'm a little embarrassed by my 2 month hiatus from blogging. It was kind cool to hear that a few (an I reiterate a "few") people were actually missing my updates. So how do I explain the happenings of the last 2 months? Life has been incredible, busy, mind-numbing, and humbling all at once since June. First off, I graduated from PA school! Instead he got a Camelbak :).
