Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Shannon and Grant were married on Saturday, October 1, 2011. The wedding took place in Santa Ana, at my dad's shop. It was held in a 50 x 30 ft. tent with tables and chairs, a full bar, a live band, lots of hot rods and we even fired up a front engine dragster during dinner. The guests waiting for the Bride to arrive. Shannon and Carl (dad) drove up in a 1954 Chevy. Carl, Me, Shannon and Grant, after the ceremony. What more could a couple ask for in a wedding? Thursday, August 16, 2012. This is the short version of our trip to Bonneville. I shot some video with my digital camera. I had to break it into 4 movies. First I edited the video clips. Then put them all together. This first one is the ride up to Bonneville. Many of you will recognize it. This one is the first day at the salt flats. On Friday we were hit with a major wind and rainstorm. Finally we ran the car, watched record runs, then drove home. Friday, August 3, 2012. So I'll review what I did in July.

Thursday, May 17, 2012. Not that I needed another vacation, but I took a short one anyway. My good buddy, Rondi, and I decided to go to San Diego for 2 days, before the guys came down there for a concert. Pink Floyd! After settling in to the hotel, we caught a cab to Old Town for dinner and Margaritas. I met this guy, but he only spoke Spanish, so I moved on. Sunday, March 11, 2012. Four Days in Gainesville. On Wednesday, March 7th, Carl and I and Mike and Lynn Kuhl, got on an airplane at LAX, headed to Miami, ultimately landing in Gainesville, Florida. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. 3 Nights in Sorrento. Here's the second post of my Italy adventure. On Thursday, October 11th, we got the 6 AM wake-up call. Our bags were out by the door at 6:30 and whisked away to the bus. We had breakfast and boarded the bus at 7:30 sharp. We had a long drive ahead of us, I think 2 or 3 hours (hard to remember). We were headed to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. The building was so cool, and there were ruins just off the patio where we had lunch. Joyce, Mel, Helen and Greg.
