Midnight Strikes again | The Singing Librarian Talks

https://thesinginglibrarian.com/2013/09/08/midnight-strikes-again

The Singing Librarian Talks. Ramblings on libraries and life upon the wicked stage. Lightning may or may not strike twice, but midnight most certainly can. The ensemble nature of the show meant that the 12 different personalities interacted in numerous (sometimes quite complex) ways, and exploring these was fascinating. Related posts (about When Midnight Strikes, the first time around):. A final toast to midnight.

Pick of the Literate: One Particular Harbour by Chip Bell

http://bookrevues.blogspot.com/2015/05/one-particular-harbour-by-chip-bell.html

Books I have authored. Friday, May 8, 2015. One Particular Harbour by Chip Bell. Jake Sullivan is in hot water again. The U.S. Virgin Islands are the setting for this drama. Jake is arrested for a murder that he didn't commit. I commented in my review of. S "A Pirate Looks at Forty" that I felt that. Was improving in his writing. I feel that he has really brought it home in this book. Plenty of action and tension with the now familiar humorous interplay between Mike Lang and Jake. Click On Me to find out.

Sunday, March 18, 2018. Hand Study with Bible, Albrecht Durer, 1506. I checked the library Twitter and Facebook this morning. I read a little bit more of The One Percent Solution. Gordon Lafer is describing how some conservative are increasingly adopting a minimal government philosophy where even if there is money for schools, roads, fire departments, and libraries, it should not be spent. The government should be of minimal size, have minimal resources, and be as small as possible. Links to this post.
