Smart Friends | bookish

Don’t mean to brag, but I have a lot of really cool, smart friends. Meet some of them who are on the interwebs! Marie is an interpretive exhibit writer. We used to work together, and we have plans to work together again, but right now we mostly get together to drink copious amounts of tea and play lightsabers with our iPhones. Another ex-coworker. Jenn has since left the company we worked at together, and is slowly making her way around the world. Once, in high school, a group of us held a River Phoenix.

Heather Andrews has been riding on two wheels since 1981, when she was gifted a beautiful pink bike with her name on the chainguard, a big basket on the handlebars, and a cool Snoopy bell (left). Since that time, she has enjoyed bike commuting as many as 28 miles a day, advocated for bikes on the individual and government level, written about bikes, and has even raced a mountain bike (kinda). She also writes at Bookish. Looking at the world through book-colored glasses. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
